This was our last stay on our trip to South Africa and The Parkwood was the perfect place to end an adventure. We felt. The size of the property was big enough to have a dining rhombus small enough that we felt like we were part of a family visiting from out of town. Rooms were large and comfortable, and decorated nicely. The patio, the gardens and library nook added exceptional places to relax. Staff were so friendly and helpful. This was our first visit to Joburg. They helped us map out places to see that were not necessarily on the prime tourist lists.

We had a wonderful stay at The Parkwood! The staff are incredibly friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed-nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and our room was spacious, comfortable and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others1

JP is lovely, very smiley face. Sarah the owner/manager came to introduce herself.. Nice fresh fruit at breakfast, plenty variety for breakfast also. Very relaxed, Nothing wrong in my eyes.
The location was ideal for walking to the local shopping mall and the staff advised us the safest route to walk.
